Listed Cottage in Lindfield

Located in the pretty Sussex village of Lindfield, the owners of this attractive Listed cottage were granted Listed Building Consent to replace the windows and porch door with joinery to match the style of the existing. The windows were glazed with slim, 14mm, krypton gas filled double glazed units in order to maintain the slim glazing bar detail whilst improving their thermal performance. A new extension was built to the rear of the property by a local builder to provide a dining area to the adjoining kitchen to which we fitted bi-folding doors opening out into a delightful secluded and mature garden. We were able to VAT zero rate the work that was considered to be 'alteration' under the Listed Building Consent.
